You can participate in the "Padova Ponti di Pace" initiative, a series of artistic events held in the city of Padua between 4 September and 11 October 2025.

Why it matters

At a time when it seems that all we hear about is war, Padova Ponti di Pace has chosen to express the word “peace” through music, poetry, photography and art.

From 4 September to 11 October 2025, over 100 musicians and artists will bring more than 30 cultural events to the city's historic bridges, with free admission: voices and sounds that become messages of disarmament, justice and solidarity for oppressed peoples.

Padova Ponti di Pace is promoted by the Meraki Association in collaboration with Padova Sorprende, Centro Pandora, Popoli Insieme, Legambiente, Urban Tribe, Mancikalalu, Donne in Nero and Beati costruttori di Pace, with the patronage of the Municipality of Padua and the Padua Chamber of Commerce.

Creating spaces of shared beauty is a concrete way to raise awareness among citizens and build bridges: between cultures, between generations, between those who live in Padua and those who pass through.

Every gesture, big or small, helps to reinforce a message that is more necessary today than ever: peace is built together, step by step, bridge by bridge.
