You can avoid Israeli products and services
Don’t fund genocide with your purchases.
Why it matters
Every Israeli company, whether or not it supports the actions of the government, contributes to funding the state and its military through taxes. This means that part of what you spend on Israeli products directly supports the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Reducing the profits of Israeli businesses also creates economic pressure on the state. When thousands of people stop buying, the impact is felt: in public finances, in the media, and in politics.
This is not a new idea. When Russia invaded Ukraine, dozens of Russian companies were excluded from international markets, even those with no direct ties to the government. Many foreign companies were also indirectly affected and lost business with Moscow.
Avoiding Israeli companies is a form of nonviolent pressure—one that has already been applied in other contexts.
What You Can Do
- Get informed
Before making a purchase, check on the label and online whether the product is linked to an Israeli company or one that operates in Israel. - Choose alternatives
There are ethical alternatives in almost every product category, from cosmetics to pharmaceuticals, from food to technology. - Talk about your choice
Share with friends, family, or colleagues why you’ve decided not to buy Israeli brands. Even one conversation can raise awareness. - Share your experience
Use social media to talk about your choices. The more people join in, the more collective the act becomes. - Write to stores and retailers
Ask them to stop distributing these products and suggest ethical alternatives.
