You can join the march on October 12th
Join the Perugia-Assisi March on 12 October, with Francesca Albanese, Tomaso Montanari and many others.
Why it matters
"The stubbornness with which the Italian government has continued to ignore the pleas for help from Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank for two years now is unacceptable", said Flavio Lotti, organiser of the Perugia-Assisi March on 12 October. "Recognising the State of Palestine is not enough to put an end to this torment, but not recognising it is an unequivocal sign of betrayal of the principles of legality and justice enshrined in our Constitution and in that of the UN. The State of Palestine is a right, not a gift."
"It is time to unite all the positive energies of our country and organise the biggest demonstration", continues Flavio Lotti. "While we follow with concern the journey of the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, on Sunday 12 October we will march from Perugia to Assisi together with Francesca Albanese, Tomaso Montanari, Paola Caridi and many others to say enough to genocide, but also to cynicism and all complicity, hypocrisy and indifference! Saving the Palestinian people means saving us all from the apocalypse into which we are plunging! We must all do something!"
