You can change your bank
Don’t let your money fund genocide.
Why it matters
Many banks, insurance companies, and pension funds are directly complicit in the genocide in Gaza. They do so by investing in Israeli war bonds and in arms companies whose weapons are used in attacks on Palestinian civilians. Research by BankTrack and Profundo shows that this financial complicity is systematic, well-documented, and largely hidden from public view.
Moving your money is one of the most effective things you can do. Money is power, and choosing where to place it means choosing what to support.
What you can do
- Check if your bank, insurer, or pension fund is involved
Use the latest research from Banktrack and Profundo to find out whether your financial institution is linked to the arms trade or to Israeli war financing. - Move your money to an ethical alternative
If you can, close your account or policy and switch to a bank or fund that does not invest in war, apartheid, or occupation. Like for example this one. - Talk about your choice
Share your decision with friends, family, and colleagues. Change spreads when it’s visible. - Make sure they know why you're leaving
Contact your bank, insurer, or fund to demand divestment from companies and countries complicit in war crimes.
