You can donate to SOS Children’s Villages
More than 17,000 children have been left alone and over one million need urgent support.
Why it matters
SOS Children’s Villages is on the ground in the Gaza Strip, providing immediate support to children, many of them orphaned, displaced, or at risk of family separation. Nearly half of Gaza’s population are children, and thousands have lost one or both parents due to the conflict.
The consequences, physical, psychological, and social, are profound and long-lasting.
Their emergency response offers:
- Direct humanitarian aid to vulnerable families to prevent separation
- Emergency care services for unaccompanied or separated children, including identification, registration, and placement in safe and supportive settings.
- Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for children and caregivers dealing with trauma.
- Cash assistance to families, especially those headed by women or young adults, to meet basic needs.
Supporting SOS means helping to rebuild lives, safeguarding children, and preserving the future of Gaza’s youngest survivors.
